We were engaged to bring fresh ideas to Hadlow Preparatory Schools property plans. This involved creating an overarching master plan for Hadlow’s future developments as well as further redevelopment of its junior hub.

The master planning process included an extensive series of workshops with the board, staff and parent community. This focused on understanding the character and culture of the school, issues with the current arrangement as well as its opportunities.

This plan resolved issues with the arrival at the school, creating a strong coherent organisation around a series of outdoor spaces that will create a sense of community with a rich range of social interaction. These key ideas were further enriched working with Local Landscape Architecture Collective on the landscape design.

The design for the junior hub looks to create a variety of linked activity spaces to support a wide range of learning experiences arranged around two learning hubs.
